ABOUT KOINONIA COMMUNITY CHURCH
Koinonia is being in agreement with one another, being united in purpose, and serving alongside each other. Our koinonia with each other is based on our common koinonia with Jesus Christ. Philippians 2:1-2 declares, “if you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from His love, if any fellowship with the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and purpose.”

KOINONIA'S HISTORY
In January of 2020, a group of 80 faithful followers of JESUS CHRIST ‘Wandered in the Promised Land’ in support of their soon to be Pastor. On February 2, 2020, approximately 85 of the beloved band of believers gathered for worship in the Student Center Auditorium of the Landmark Temple Church located at 1600 Glendale-Milford Road in Glendale, OH. After the worship service, the people of God decided to extend the gathering in order to confer around the possibility of ‘Launching a new Ministry’ which would include, but not be limited to, starting a new Church.
On June 8, 2020, the Church received its State of Ohio Certificate with its approved Articles of Incorporation. On Sunday, July 5, 2020, the Koinonia Community Church resumed meeting in person (adhering to all of the COVID-19 precautionary protocols). We continued to maintain the electronic connection providing virtual access that would help extend the reach of the Gospel. Despite the impact of the pandemic, GOD in His infinite wisdom blessed the Church to have its first Baptism Service on Sunday, December 20, 2020
